One of the main reasons to go travelling is to find new and exciting things to write about. Or if nothing else, for me (Dante), I need to stop having all my characters working in offices.

I finished my third novel - Tarnished Knight - a few weeks before this trip. And it will now sit all warm and happy on my harddive until we settle somewhere and I decide what do do with it.

While we're away I plan to write a novel set around our travels. Write a lot more short stories and have a go at some more plays - I've only written one so far.

I've included a few of the short stories I wrote before leaving the UK and I'll add more as I write them.
